Offset Printing Explained:
This is the most commonly used method of printing where an image on a plate is “offset” onto rubber blanket cylinders which, in turn, transfers the image to a sheet of paper. The process is based on making the printing image ink receptive and water repellent, while the non-printing areas are rendered water receptive and ink repellent. Offset presses may have more than one printing unit, with each delivering a different color. They come in a range of sizes and can accommodate single sheets as well as rolls of paper.

How We Make Offset Printing Economical For You:
We gang up your job to make printing more cost effective for you. By running your job on a large sheet with other jobs, the biggest costs of 4 color (Full Color) Vessel runprinting (plates and setup) are distributed across the cost of everyones jobs. This is how we makes 4 color printing economical for you.

However, some of the economic benefits of gang run printing are lost if you need something out of the ordinary. The gang run presses are set up to print CMYK (Full Color), and while we have two extra towers available, the cost of the extra plates are not split up among the other jobs. In other words the full costs of the plates and set up are now added to your price.

An additional limitation of gang run printing is that there is usually a slight color variance throughout the order. It is typically not noticeable except when you run large areas of a flat color (which should really be speced as a PMS anyway). If your job is extremely color critical, you must notify us, as you might need to be quoted another method of print production. In general most of our printing is done through the gang run method and clients make allowances for the slight color variance due to the savings of gang run print.
